*Note: Governor Beverly Purdue signed House Bill 2 on May 19, 2009. This bill banned smoking in
restaurants and bars. On May 20, 2009 the above question was modified from its original version, which read:
Would you favor or oppose a statewide law in North Carolina that would make all
workplaces, including restaurants, and bars, smoke-free?
