survey question addresses the validity of adult/parent reporting of
child height.
For those adults who reported that their child told them his/her
height, or that they guessed at the child's height,
or that the child was measured more than six months ago, or that they
didn't know the child's height,
these adults were called back to obtain the corrected height.
Those adults who derived the child's height from a ruler/
yardstick, school, or doctor's office, were NOT called back.
^Use caution in interpreting percentages
with a numerator of less than 20. N = numerator, % = Percentage,
C.I.(95%) = Confidence Interval (at 95 percent probability level).
Percentages are weighted to population characteristics and therefore
cannot be calculated exactly from the numbers in this table.
