The survey of Local Health Department Facilities, Staffing, and Services provides a count of health department employees by occupational groups, a summary of essential public health services, and assessments of other topics, such as bilingual health initiatives and the use of information technology in health departments. All surveys have been oriented to the state’s fiscal year: beginning July 1 and ending June 30th of the subsequent year. The current survey was administered in the summer of 2006, and covers the FY2004-2005 fiscal year (FY2005) period.
